I’ve used it in the past, but more so as an API to connect to other apps. Twilio is the industry standard so not sure what’s making you have issues. Probably worth reaching out to their support. Could be a regional thing.

I’ve used a few. An old job had integrations with ~8 sms providers. Twillio was probably the best.
