Coding Hiring/Freelance

Any feedback on which one should I start of with or any other better way to put the pricing?

I had recently started on a new micro-saas Shopify App, it basically lets store owners add Custom JS, CSS or copy paste script to any theme. I had kept it free and it had grown nicely on AppStore - https://sasi.unionworks.co.uk/app/custom-css-plus.

Now to monetize it, I am adding a functionality like fiverr where store owners can create theme edit tasks which will be done by my team (initially just me ). I wanted to get feedback on pricing model.

Here are few I have in mind,

Pricing Technique 1:

(Based on skill level of the freelancer you are hiring)

Beginner: $10/hour

Intermediate: $20/hour

Expert: $40/hour

No guaranteed monthly revenue, but easier to understand.

Pricing Technique 2:

Montly Basic Pack: $29/mo, covers 5 hours of work, $10/hour after that

Montly Pro Pack: $99/mo, covers 20 hours of work, $10/hour after that

Montly Expert Pack: $179/mo, covers 40 hours of work, $10/hour after that

Guaranteed recurring revenue, but less per hour

Pricing Technique 3:

Pay as you go: $15/hour

Montly Basic Pack: $29/mo, covers 5 hours of work, $10/hour after that

Montly Pro Pack: $99/mo, covers 20 hours of work, $10/hour after that

Montly Expert Pack: $179/mo, covers 40 hours of work, $10/hour after that

Best of both but a bit complicated to understand.

I used to use a service called WPCurve (bought by GoDaddy) that was a subscription based service for unlimited minor tasks. I loved it - I just send a request and they’d do it it within a day.

You could always include a fair use policy for overusers and remove the ‘$10hr after that bit’
