So is it worth targetting these to get maybe possible 2nd or 3rd result on the page?

So I’m looking at doing seo work for http://getparthenon.com|getparthenon.com for people searching info on building a SaaS. On all the searches so far I would competing with development agencies. Even for low volume searches of <10 nearly all of the searches have domains with a domain rating of 50+ and mines is just 39 or something.

It’s an interesting problem. https://ahrefs.com/academy/blogging-for-business according to this course the most results you will get from being in top 3 and even from one to 3 there is a big drop. However, you might end up rating for more keywords than initially planned so you might in the end get better volume if people are searching and content is good.
